In November 2016, Trinity began worshipping on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. at Tri-County Chapel, a local funeral home.  Yes – a funeral home. Grace Lutheran Church, a fellow ELCA congregation in Appleton, became host to Trinity’s church offices, activities, meetings and mid-week worship until November 2019.  At that time Trinity followed the call to return its offices to downtown Appleton at 116 N. Appleton Street. Trinity’s transition has involved several moves, lots of flexibility and lots of faith – – and is still a work in progress.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_id=”grayBg” css=”.vc_custom_1586909878871{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;background-color: #eeeeee !important;}” el_class=”noSpaceTop”][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the midst of it all Trinity has been practicing our listening skills.  We work at listening to God, to each other and to our community so that we can know what God is already up to and then join God there. Trinity is working to share God’s love with all people as we grow in faith together.

One of the places Trinity has been led is to Oneida Heights, local housing for low to moderate income households.  There we wash clothing, towels and bedding for those who struggle with the task because of physical or financial challenges.  Trinity also supports Pillars: Homeless Shelters, Affordable Housing & Resources.  At Pillars Adult and Family Shelter, we spend time caring for children while their parents attend a parenting class and provide welcome bags for kids when they move into shelter.  In the summer of 2019, Trinity hosted “Camp Pillars” at that shelter to give the kids staying there the opportunity to experience the fun of camp.

Trinity continues to listen for where God is leading the congregation to share God’s love as we grow in faith together.  Who knows what will happen next![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1582843096367{background-color: #0c2a55 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

We would love for you to join us! Sharing God’s love with all people as we grow in faith together.
